TrueWide Sliding Back Camera
|
Cat# PBP-006 - $2995.00
The Kapture Group TrueWide Sliding Back Camera KG-006 supports 35mm lenses with lens mounts available in Nikon F, Canon FD, Olympus, Contax and Leica R. The TrueWide incorporates a Copal 3 shutter and accepts Hasselblad viewfinders. The Maxwell Precision Optics focusing screen slides into place for bright focusing and depth of field preview. The Pro Back Plus then slides into place for image capture. The ProShot cable Release PBP-001 is also required. Combining the TrueWide with numerous wide-angle and macro shift lenses give you instant view camera performance in a portable package.
Click the image above for sample Simplicity in design and function make the TrueWide the ideal studio and location camera body for high end digital photography. The TrueWide incorporates both horizontal and vertical levels. The Beattie Intenscreen Plus focusing screen slides into place for precision focusing and depth of field preview. The Pro Back Plus then slides into place for image capture. Both the focus and capture positions have positive detent. The TrueWide lens mount rotates 90 degrees to accommodate vertical or horizontal shots. A few ultra wide-angle lenses with integrated pedal lens shades will crop the chip. By rotating the lens mount portrait or landscape image orientation can be selected for these lenses. Positive detents hold your lens firmly in place after rotation. Combine the TrueWide with various wide-angle shift lenses or even the Micro-Nikkor 85mm f2.8 tilt shift and you've got instant view camera performance. Please note: The Pro Back Plus is an outstanding camera combination with the ProBack Plus when used in the studio with electronic flash at all shutter speeds. There is one issue when shooting in ambient light. A shutter speed of 1/30 second or slower should be used when shooting in ambient light to avoid ghosting of the shutter blades in the image. This only applies to the TrueWide Sliding Back Camera when used in combination with the Kodak chip. |
